Research Interests:
Zachary Shore's work stands at the intersection of history, decision making, and policy. Through six books and numerous articles he has asked how leaders make decisions about their enemies and how this in turn affects international conflict. The overarching aim is to develop a history of judgment in foreign affairs. His hope is that this work will not only advance our understanding of particular historical periods but will also provide some guidance to contemporary decision makers.
